I have over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, specialising in road surfacing. So, if you have been held up in traffic, the chances are I was involved somewhere along the line. Sorry!
After gaining an Honours Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Dundee, I was very fortunate to be able to come home to live and work in Moray since I am a local quine fae Dufftown, I now live in Rafford with my husband and my Boston Terrier.
Being extremely passionate about training and development for all Moray workers, I want to see opportunities improve for local talent. So, along with Laura, we hope to bring some peace of mind to local businesses by offering training opportunities on your doorstep.
As a qualified trainer I can deliver a range of courses including most construction related courses. Please check out our Fit We Dae (courses) page for some examples. Also, as an SVQ Assessor, I help deliver construction SVQs. I can also help businesses to meet their legal requirements by assisting with Risk Assessments, H&S policies and other documentation.
I would be delighted to hear from anyone that needs help or advice on any training requirements.
Like Hazel, I am another local quine, originally from Alves, I attended Forres Academy and I now live in Elgin with my husband and two bairns.
I studied accountancy at Strathclyde University and have been a Chartered Accountant for over 15 years. Now that I am also a qualified trainer I would be more than happy to assist anyone who maybe needs a little help understanding their accounts – we all know how boring that can be!
Since leaving University, I have worked at various firms in Moray in a range of sectors, but latterly in the whisky industry.
My main aim in our new venture is to provide our clients with a completely bespoke service. Whatever your training needs, I will do my very best to find you the most cost efficient and time saving solution. I am currently delivering AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) training to several students at Foundation and Advanced level and am carrying this out through a mix of face to face meetings and ongoing remote support.
Come and see us, you will get a warm welcome (I bought an amazing coffee machine!) and we will help you find that missing peace.
