I have over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, specialising in road surfacing. So, if you have been held up in traffic, the chances are I was involved somewhere along the line. Sorry!
I have an Honours Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Dundee and I was very fortunate to be able to come home to live and work in Moray since I am a local quine fae Dufftown.
I now live in Rafford with my husband and my Boston Terrier.
I am extremely passionate about training and development for all Moray workers and want to see opportunities improve for local talent. So, along with Laura, we hope to bring some peace of mind to local businesses by offering training opportunities on your doorstep.
I am now a qualified trainer which will enable me to deliver certain construction related courses. I am also working towards becoming an SVQ assessor and hope to offer this service by the end of 2019.
I would be delighted to hear from anyone that needs help or advice on any training requirements.
Like Hazel, I am another local quine, originally from Alves, I attended Forres Academy and I now live in Elgin with my husband and two bairns.
I studied accountancy at Strathclyde University and have been a Chartered Accountant for over 15 years. Now that I am also a qualified trainer I would be more than happy to assist anyone who maybe needs a little help understanding their accounts – we all know how boring that can be!
I have worked at various firms in Moray in a range of sectors, but latterly in the whisky industry.
My main aim in our new venture is to provide our clients with a completely bespoke service. Whatever your training needs, I will do my very best to find you the most cost efficient and time saving solution.
Come and see us, you will get a warm welcome (I bought an amazing coffee machine!) and we will help you find that missing peace.

At the Training Folk we are all about keeping it local, whenever this is possible, so we were delighted to get a write up in a local paper about our new venture. Thanks to the Forres Gazette for the article, what a great way to start our business!!!! Check...
