We will require to see proof of identity before your request can be processed.
Privacy Notice – All Customers
As a responsible Training Provider, we take the privacy of our customers very seriously. We will only collect and keep personal data required to provide our training services. We only keep that data for the mandatory periods required either legally or by Course awarding bodies.
Personal data
To enable us to provide our services and fulfil any contract with you, we will need some personal data. This may include;
• Name, Address, email, phone number
• Date of birth, National Insurance number
• Banking information, VAT details
Most of this data will come direct from you and we will seek your approval to use this information. You should be aware that if you do not supply information required, we may not be able to provide our services.
What we use your data for
When you become a customer of The Training Folk, your data may be held in the following formats;
• On Paper – When you attend a course, your name will be on a number of documents. These documents could be attendance registers or exam papers etc. These documents will be stored securely at our office and will be destroyed when no longer required.
• Digitally – Information that we collect on paper will be scanned and saved on our computers. This is to enable us to send relevant course information to awarding bodies. It also provides a more secure backup than holding hard copies.
• Any other information that you give us electronically (emails, completed forms etc) will also be stored on our computers to meet the current regulations set by awarding and Governmental bodies.
Your data may be shared with awarding bodies, organisations that we are carrying out training in partnership with, event organisers, our accountants and computing service providers. In all cases we will take reasonable care to;
• Only share data that is absolutely required to be shared to fulfil our responsibilities to partners and customers.
• Ensure that the bodies we share data with are themselves compliant with GDPR.
We will never sell your data to a third party
